It was so good to see Bobby and Rachel again. We all had a really good time. Most of the time at least one of the 3 kids was screaming and we all ate way too much (naturally, I know). They didn't say it, but I am sure they wanted to tell all of you hello. BTW, if you told me to tell them "Hi" I totally did. Here are some pics of the trip.
Just another beautiful day at the sunny california beach. Yum!
Having the most disgusting coffee at Mr. Toots. Uhh. It was nasty.
San Francisco has many treats...not just Rice a Roni. On the way up to San Francisco, Birge, Will, and I played what was known as 20 questions, but became about 100 questions. It started a long weekend of playing this...we couldn't stop. We found out that Birge thinks of triangles, I think of mudflaps, and Will thinks of Chocolate Easter Bunnies.
This was Sunday in Santa Cruz, which, by the way, is where the movie Lost Boys was filmed. I felt so cool being there. It was probably the most relaxing day I have had i a long time. It was so needed.
I also picked up, perhaps, one of the most underrated and talented bands of all time. They are called Servotron Robot Alliance, and they will rock your face. They are now all of our favorite band. You should check them out.

Santa Cruz
Birge and I arrived in Santa Cruz last night via San Jose via Southwest Airlines. We haven't seen anything yet because we are all getting ready, but I can feel that it is awesome. We are hanging out with Bobby, Rachel, Will, and soon we will be with Stephen and Stephanie.
This is the same crew that went to big bear in the winter of 06 and had a blast. We are going to San Francisco today. I am so ready for this mini vacation. It will actually be a relaxing vacation. We typically take high stress vacations, but this is a much needed relaxing one.

Indian Thriller
I am apparently on a Thriller kick right now. Matt and I found this video the other day when we were watching the Prison Thriller video. I plan on going to India on a mission trip this February and I really hope this is what it is like. If it isn't, at least maybe I could meet this guy.
Prison
I have never thought I wanted to go to prison...until I saw this video. I would actually recommend to any criminals that may be reading my blog to go to the Philippines to do your crime. It seems crime does pay in the Philippines. It pays if free dance lessons. Check this out. Notice the "girl" in the video...she is hot.

I'm not the only one!
I wouldn't want to go to his barbeque. He probably puts extra butter on his rolls.

Video of the Week
So, since I can't seem to get in a groove of blogging, I am gonna try something to make myself commit to this whole thing. I am going to post a "video of the week" every week. This may be funny or just something I find really cool, in which case you will probably not. My friend Michael emailed me the video for my first post.
I totally know how this guy feels. I feel like this about once a week. All part of owning your own business, I guess. It's a couple of minutes long, but the end is so worth it.
Awesome!

My Awesome Weekend
Friday Night my weekend started with a victory. The softball team I am on, Scared Hitless, won our maiden game 23 - 1. Our pitcher Adam pitched a 1 run game, and Brent Glonchak hit two over the fence, with a bit of a, ahem...handicap. You can ask him. It is so nice to be on a good team of any sort. I haven't been on a good team since I was 18. Hmmm. I wonder if I am the problem. Don't feel you have to comment on that.
Saturday was a friends Burger and Karaoke fest at the Platt's. Jamie is now like 130 years old. Eric, Jessie, Jamie, and I were tearin' up the mic on karaoke. While Stephen totally dominated the hippity-hop contest, Randy "fell" short. When we left we had dinner at Mike and Jenny's house and saw Shrek the Third. In a tribute to Mike, "stretchmarks"...enough said.
The best day of these was Sunday. I of course woke up at the butt crack of dawn again, which I love...right. During church, I actually experienced God's presence. It has been a while since that has happened so it was great. After church, we got to go to Fallbrook for Andrew and Amanda San Nicolas's wedding, which was pretty amazing. She didn't fall walking down the aisle or anything, so there was no funny fireworks. We rode with Jerry and Patti Stout. They wanted to go to the Pala Casino after the wedding with the Shewfelt's and Todini's. So, even though I was dead tired, we were totally game b/c I can't stand something happening without me there. The Shewfelts ended up at Pechanga. But, by the time they got there, I won $745 on a nickel slot machine!!!! I never gamble because I always lost when I did. But last night I won $840 in about an hour and a half. I couldn't lose...it was crazy. I turned in five tickets that totalled up to 840 on less than $20. It was awesome! I will probably never gamble again.

A
I chose the letter A to represent Acronym. Acronyms seem to be a huge part of our daily lives now, so I will share a few that I think are...interesting. Comment and let me in on a few others.
KFC - This is only ok because of their new "Chicken Mashed Potato Bowl"
GMA - This stands for Good Morning America. Why the heck do they need an acronym?
VMA's - I never really thought about this, but if it stands alone nobody would even know what it meant.
WTH - I actually like this one...because I am lazy.
OWP - Sadly, I am responsible for this one...but nobody knows what it means anyways. Hint: lube.
TB - For those of you that know my wife...The Birge.
I want more acronyms from y'all. Don't give me the obvious ones like lol or omg. Be creative.

Fat Pig
I was looking online with my friend Brandong and we somehow ran across this article. It talks about a kid who was hunting boars with his dad and killed a pig that was 9ft.4in. long and weighs over 1000 pounds! It looks like a freakin' hippo! Apparently, the guy that killed it was not a guy...it was an 11 year old boy who has been hunting since he was five. He shot the pig 8 times with a .50 caliber revolver. It looks like a freaking grenade would be needed to kill this thing.

Bridget's J.O.B.
As some of you may have heard, in true Jack Black form, Bridget stuck it to the man in her last meeting with her boss!
I was so proud of her because she is so passive, but she totally went off about the amount of her raise considering her promotion. Anyways, her boss came back to her and basically told her the offer for her rais is as stands and will not be adjusted. Due to this, the Birge is now officially looking for a new job.
If anybody knows of anything that is awesome for a hot chick to do, let her or me know. It needs to pay about 400,000 per year. J/K.

Once you pop, you better stop!
This morning we had our huge easter egg hunt and pancake breakfast and it was freaking awesome! Everything went smooth from a facilities point of view and parking was surprisingly easy compared to most other events at EPCC. That is until Bridget showed up. She is always willing to help and is one of the best darn flashlight holders this side of the Pecos. However, things change when she turns her back for one second.
There was a car pulling out of the grass parking lot today and Bridget had stepped away to move some cones when all of a sudden she heard something like a pfffssshhh!!! When she turned around she noticed a car pulling out of the parking lot (where she was stationed) leaking a lot of air out of a tire. Unfortunately, we don't know the people driving the car and they pulled off too fast for her to tell them that they were gonna make it about a hundred feet before their tire was completely flat. I guess there was like a metal spike or something sticking up out of the ground that they ran over and the rest is history.
So, just when it seemed like the Easter Egg Hunt was smooth as lama's spit we had a casualty of the rubber sort. If you are reading this blog and got a popped tire at the Egg Hunt, talk to Bridget. She did it on purpose.

A bit of Irony
Any of you that have seen the inside of my van know that I have it set up kind of like an office on wheels...a really dirty one. In order to do that, I have to have power to run the printer and computer. Well that power comes from a converter that is directly connected to the battery inside my van. Today, after I finished working, I realized that I left the power button on the converter on all day. This was drawing power from my battery, ergo, I have a dead battery.
The ironic part is that I am a "mobile mechanic" of sorts. I am supposed to be able to help people with these kinds of problems, but as Stephen can testify my instant jump starter hasn't worked for a short time...like a year and a half. Why does this kind of stuff always happen? The other day I saw a tow truck towing a tow truck. I also got hit by a softball and it freaking hurt.
Hopefully my van never runs out of oil. That would probably be worse.

Modest Mouse
I have this uncanny ability that many people wish they have. I can win stuff on the radio. I am totally the guy that calls in on anything and everything and because of that on Tuesday I won tickets on KROQ for the Ditch Day at Six Flags with Modest Mouse. That is the fifth time I have won something on the radio. I have previously won tickets to White Stripes, Muse, Chemical Brothers, and the Chemical Brothers CD. In addition, I helped my friends Alvin and Lori win 1000 dollars on KIIS FM when there name was called and they had 30 minutes to call in. That was pretty weird.
Anyways, as many of you know I was having a bit of trouble finding somebody that could go to Six Flags on Friday and to the concert after. Fortunately, I remembered that Bridget's cousin, Rachel, is a huge Modest Mouse fan and invited her. She was stoked and we had a blast! Tatsu and X are arguably the best two roller coasters I have ever been on. And Ninja is undoubtedly the worst. Especially considering the mountain you have to climb to get to the worst ride in the park. Such a weak payoff.

Fine, Here We Go!
Ok. So, it's been a while. I have been ridiculously busy for the last few weeks, but now I'm back!
Since I've been gone a ton has happened. We had a preview service for our Bellflower Campus, but Jamie sings too freaking loud so they kicked us out. Great friends of mine and many others, Bobby and Rachel, are no longer "Revolutionaries". We are all moved into our apartment, so, come on over. I got to be a farmer for a while, although I had trouble growing any crop. My softball team is still horrible, sorry to any of you that are reading this, but let's not deny the truth. Birge and I led life group for the first time as "Life Group Leaders" last night, and, although very unusual, the time was eye opening and refreshing. Nobody left until after 10 pm by choice. For those of you that didn't make it, sorry, but it was a "good one."
Here is some awesome news. Birge and I are taking a little vacation with a couple of our friends to Cabo for $75 round trip in June-ish. How awesome is that!
But, probably the most exciting thing to happen to me in years is my new black nitrile gloves arrived. So, now I can look awesome while working on cars, trucks, etc!
Shake what cha mama gave ya!

People are Amazing
So, recently I heard that people get all offended if you don't post any comments on their blog. That is ridiculous. It is kind of fun to read what people wrote on your blog, but it blows my mind that some people use their blog as a gauge of how well they are liked. If you don't post on my blog, I won't automatically assume that you don't like me. People are freaking busy and maybe sometimes the blog just isn't that interesting. At any rate if you need your tires pumped up that bad, you should ask somebody to tell you how awesome, interesting, and good looking you are. Whether they post it on your blog or just tell you, "Hey buddy, you are my friend...Yay!!!" they are probably lying and don't like you anyways.
Stop being so needy. The people in the picture are needy, get over it...and have a great day!!!

Weekend
This weekend was honestly pretty crappy with good spots here and there. I worked Friday Night until about 10pm gettin' dirty, but was able to hang out with Birge, Stephen, Stephanie, and Kaelyn for about an hour and a half after. The whole night was made better when I got to eat Golden Spoon. I could seriously eat there for every meal...even though they don't serve meals.
Saturday Birge, Matt, and I went to put down the deposit on our new place, which in itself was painful and exciting. The countdown is down to 10 days. We went to the beach for a few minutes right after because for some reason it was freaking hot on Saturday and now it is cold and rainy. After the beach, we went to Super Mex and to see Norbit. That movie sucks. Don't see it...How you doin'??? Of course, Matt liked it. Then I went to Rock Bottom Brewery with a few guys from church and actually drank the "sampler" of beers. That would have been fine except for I don't really even like beer. However, I hate spending money on something that I don't use so I made myself drink all of the samples...even though most of them were nasty. Fortunately, John Apodaca offered me a ride to my car because I parked like 8 blocks away in the ghetto. No worries, though, there was a homeless guy in his wheelchair to watch over my car. Whew!
Sunday was like every other Sunday. Up at 5:15, off to church, blah, blah, blah. I got to do announcements for the first time this Sunday, so that was fun. Overall it was a good day. Probably the fastest two teardowns (morning and evening) that have ever been compiled. We were done after 11 am service by 1:05 and after evening service by 8:29. I think it is because Bobby wasn't there to distract me with his shennanigans...j/k Bobby. Anyways, now I feel like I got beat down by 7 big Samoans with lead pipes, as I do on every Monday after 13 hours of Churchin'.

Movin' On Up
So, Bridget, Matt and I are moving. We are moving to Belmont Shore, right by the beach and the ultra clean Long Beach water, right by our friend Will and really close to our friends Jessie and Sarah. We are so excited. It isn't that we don't love living with Debbie, I mean she is an absolute delight. We just feel that it could be time to hang our hats elsewhere. We will be moving in about 2 weeks. Anybody that wants to help us move in is more than welcome!
Somethin' New
I am going to start my blog just like everybody else. Here goes. I have never done this before, and swore I never would. I must warn anybody that reads this, I can be pretty funny. If you don't want to laugh, please don't read any further. Hopefully somebody will read this. I am going to feel really dumb if they don't. Oh, well.
